What some people may not know is that before you become a candidate representing a party, that party needs to choose you first. Essentially, those who are members of the party within the local constituency vote for who they want their party's candidate to be. Every party has different rules, but typically a membership will cost $10/year and are not typically auto-renewed. People need to be members for at least 30 days before the nomination vote takes to try and prevent outside special interest groups from abusing the process.

My hope is that as you read through my policy page section and get to know what I stand for, that I can earn your support; starting with the nomination.
